We bought this Travco 2 years ago from a couple who had it for 30 years. It is in great shape for its age.
We enjoyed a couple of trips with no issues. We are selling because it doesn't fit our family any longer. My husband is unable to work on it.
The GOOD:
• Repowered with ‘76 Chrysler 440RB engine and 727 transmission.
• Fewer than 5000 miles on engine and trans rebuilds.
• ~85,000 miles on motor home (speedo replaced).
• Stovetop works
• Fridge works on either propane or 110 ac.
• Electric hot water heater works.
• Bathroom: shower, toilet, sink, mirrored cabinet.
• 6KW Onan generator.
• Roof air conditioner in front, rear a/c replaced with vented fan.
• Windshield privacy curtains.
The BAD:
• Oven does not work.
• Furnace needs some work (fan runs, ignition does not).
• 7.50 x 17 Michelin tires in good/fair condition.
• Brakes are currently not working. Problem might be the boosters
The UGLY:
There really isn't one other than the brakes being currently out. It is a 57 year old vintage RV that needs someone who is willing to accept the Good, the Bad and the Ugly and work on it.
