This is a high-quality coach from Newmar, a brand well known for building some of the better constructed and better insulated motorhomes of its time.The 35-foot layout offers a very open and comfortable interior with a large living area, spacious kitchen, private rear bedroom, and plenty of storage throughout. The slide-outs make a huge difference in interior space and give the coach a much more residential feel compared to many older motorhomes. The interior is in very good condition for the year and has clearly been well cared for.The kitchen has good counter space and storage along with a large refrigerator, stove, microwave, and free floating dinette area. The living room has comfortable seating and large windows that bring in a lot of natural light. In the rear, the private bedroom offers a walk-around bed, wardrobe storage, and a roomy bathroom layout.One of the biggest things that sets this coach apart is the overall build quality. Newmar coaches are known for their solid cabinetry, quality materials, and quieter ride compared to many entry-level Class A motorhomes. This Dutch Star still has a very solid feel inside and does not feel cheaply built.Outside, the coach is in okay condition overall with normal cosmetic wear for the age including some fading on the exterior stripes and general age-related wear and tear, but nothing out of the ordinary for a 2002 motorhome. Mechanically it has only 43k miles which is low for the year.Overall this is a clean, well-built Class A with a great layout, low miles, and the quality that made Newmar coaches so popular.
