How did a 2003 Dutch Star get bunks? Immediately after stepping down as Governor of Maine in January 2003, Angus King custom ordered this exact Newmar Dutch Star (with bunks) to embark on an unplugged family road trip across North America. He pulled his two youngest children out of school to spend five and a half months exploring 33 states and parts of Canada, covering over 15,000 miles.
