Bigfoot truck camper with Ford F350 4x4
(Optional addition: Jeep Wrangler Rubicon -
$40,000. Please read description)
We are selling our Bigfoot truck camper/Ford F350, AKA Satch.
If we could, we would keep it. This has been our home for the last 6 years and it’s with a heavy heart that we have to sell Satch as we are preparing to move to another continent.
Satch is completely boondocking ready and comes with so much “great quality” stuff to list, that it would take too long to list, but I’ll try my best to describe the essentials. We can attest to the incredible durability of this Canadian brand, Bigfoot. Everything is thought of for camping through the four seasons. Foam corp walls; double paneled windows; heated basement where the water tanks are stored so there is never any freezing of pipes possible; a fresh water tank capacity of 31 gallons, black of 25, grey of 25; wonderful heating system (yes we have camped in the freezing temps and stayed so comfortable); big Dometic fridge/freezer 2 way, propane/electric; dry bathroom; outdoor shower; so much storage; full length “garage” under the floor; and so much more to talk about. Just check out the specs a model 3000 has and you will get a more precise picture.
We have made some remodeling, but very little since it already is very well thought through; we changed the sink in the bathroom for a porcelain oval shape one with waterfall fixture; we changed the kitchen fixture for a taller, more practical one; the floor under the dinette is no longer carpet but a beautiful wooden floor covered, just like the rest of the floors, with imitation wood vinyl; we have installed a 40” smart flat screen TV in the bedroom for a great movie theater experience; it has all its original blinds, yes, because they are in great great shape, regular in bathroom and kitchen, double with light block blinds in bedroom and living room; large hanging closet; all drawers are soft close; we have a real pullout kitchen trash of 13 Gallons; through the years we also have found the “perfect fit” items (bathroom trash; all though the shower in the bathroom works beautifully we have installed removable shelving system for more storage because we use the outdoor shower or the campsites showers), dish drying rack (which is impossible to find for that size sink, but my wife found it), tuperwear that perfectly fit in the drawers; secured book shelves, electric outlets pulled from the securely stored jackery 1000 so we can charge everything when boondocking while sitting at the dinning table, the jackery plugs in an outlet in the kitchen, and charges from the roof solar panels for convenience, and, well, etc… you get the picture.
We have installed a motion activated light outside the entrance door, a Blink camera, extra super strong locking system, we feel safe when boondocking.
Satch has Starlink, Renogy solar, we boost, and more (Check out the list below for details).
The F350 XLT crew cab is a beast! It has the 7.3 litter million mile motor, powerful diesel with NO blue def to deal with. We fitted it with the Torklift Supertruss towing extension because we started towing our jeep last year. (The Jeep is available for sale as well. Check out below for details). Changed the radio for a smart, plug your phone in, large screen display with a backup camera. The seats have always been covered and are in excellent shape. And, well, so much more (Check out the list below for details).
Camping chairs, table, blackstone griddle BBQ with a 10 pound propane tank, and even a 10x10 feet pop up tent (great for those evenings by the lake) are included.
Kitchen is equipped with everything needed for gourmet cooking whilst in the middle of nowhere. Cast iron pan; pressure cooker; pots; cooking utensils; fork, knives, spoons, plates, bowls, glass wear; coffee press; one nutribullet, one magic bullet blenders…
We have cherished and maintained our Satch and would love to pass it on to someone who appreciates the wonderful camper this is.
