2006 Coachmen Freelander 2600SO
Drive this sweetheart of an RV out into the great beyond before summer kicks in! This 28-foot fiberglass RV has a living/dining/kitchen area, separate bedroom with shower, and a separate bathroom. Outdoor storage includes a huge rear storage bay, as well as several smaller compartments to house all your gear. The awning provides shade for outdoor enjoyment, and with the included mat, you can create a comfortable outdoor space.
Inside, accessed by slide-out steps, the living area is enlarged considerably with a slide-out for the jacknife sofa. The area converts to a dining space with the extendable dining table with two storage shelves, which can also be used as a desk, storage, cooking, or work area. There is ample storage in a large compartment over the sofa, as well as space underneath and behind. Even more storage space, or a bunk for two is available in the cabover that tops the comfortable leather-seated cockpit.
The kitchen area is comprised of a double-basin sink, propane range with three-burner cooktop, microwave, propane/electric refrigerator/freezer. Kitchen storage includes drawers and cabinet space under the sink, a cabinet and a shelf above the sink, as well as ample pantry storage beside the fridge.
The bathroom includes sink, mirror, under-sink storage, and toilet with another cabinet behind. The spacious glass-enclosed shower is in the bedroom and a large private bathing area can be created with the sliding accordion partitions and an open bathroom door. The shower has been upgraded with a premium shower head and mixer knob.
The bedroom's queen bed faces a large arched window for enjoying nature from the moment you rise. There is a closet for hanging clothing, as well as storage bins lining the ceiling over the bed. Good lighting is featured throughout the entire RV.
Comfort is assured for at least three seasons with the Fantastic Fan in the living area and vented skylights throughout; the central air conditioning system; or the 30 BTU furnace. The Fantastic Fan and A/C run on electricity (landline or generator), while the furnace requires electricity for the fan and propane for heating. To extend your camping season even further, a tank heater keeps your tanks from freezing
Fresh water is accessed either through a city-water hookup or from the 30 gallon fresh water holding tank. Hot water is available with a 6-gallon water heater that works on either gas or electric. The rig is equipped with a 30-gallon black waste tank for the toilet and a 30-gallon gray waste tank for the sinks and shower. A 30-gallon rhino portable tank (used once for gray water) is also included to extend your camping time.
The rig's 30 amp electrical power is supplied via either an AC hookup or the onboard generator, powered by the truck's 55 gallon gas tank.
Finally, the rig runs on a sturdy and reliable Ford E450 chassis. The engine, having only 37,395 miles, has been kept tuned and lubed for at least the last 8 years. To that point, the entirety of this RV has been well-loved and well-cared-for. Winter cover included to help you do the same. Full disclosure of past history, current maintenance needs at $22,500 firm.
