2008 Navion Class C motorhome! Great price for a great Mercedes Benz Based Quality RV! Low miles. Owned by retired Navy Pilot.
This 2008 Itasca Navion 24H is a highly capable compact Class C motorhome that combines Mercedes-Benz/Sprinter diesel performance with Winnebago-built RV construction, making it an excellent choice for buyers who want maneuverability, efficiency, and full motorhome amenities without stepping into a larger coach.
Built on the Sprinter 3500 chassis, the Navion is powered by a 3.0L Mercedes-Benz V6 turbo-diesel producing approximately 154 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. The diesel drivetrain provides strong low-RPM torque and relaxed highway operation while giving the Navion the fuel-efficiency advantage that helped make Sprinter-based motorhomes so desirable among serious touring RV owners.
At approximately 24 feet long, the 24H remains compact enough for easy campground maneuvering, fuel stops, parking, and exploring destinations where a full-size Class A can become cumbersome. Its dual-rear-wheel chassis provides additional stability and load-carrying capability while maintaining the comfortable driving characteristics of the Sprinter platform.
This 24H layout is designed to maximize usable interior space, providing comfortable seating and dining accommodations along with additional sleeping capacity. Overhead cabinetry and intelligently placed storage make it practical for longer trips without sacrificing valuable living space.
The kitchen provides the equipment needed for true self-contained travel, including a refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, sink, countertop workspace, and storage for cookware and provisions. Continue toward the rear and you'll find the bathroom facilities integrated into an efficient floor plan that makes excellent use of the Navion's compact dimensions.
The coach is equipped with the major systems expected in a fully self-contained motorhome, including onboard fresh and waste-water systems, propane system, furnace, water heater, roof air conditioning, shore-power capability, auxiliary house batteries, and generator capability depending on equipment.
What separates the Navion 24H from many conventional Class C motorhomes is the combination of its Sprinter diesel chassis and relatively compact dimensions. It's comfortable enough for extended travel yet small enough to actually enjoy driving. Whether you're crossing several states, touring national parks, spending weekends off-grid, or simply looking for a diesel RV that's easier to own and maneuver than a 35-
