This is actually the 2008 model as that was the first model year the 3.0 liter V-6 Turbo Diesel was introduced by Mercedes Benz, replacing the former 2.7 liter I-5 engine used on the Views up until 2008.

• and this explains why Winnebago titled it as a 2007 View since they bought the chassis in late 2007 and built this new View in 2007 (on the 2008 model Sprinter Chassis)
• And the original Sales Contract when purchased new at the dealer describes it as a 2008 View since it was built on the Model Year 2008 Mercedes Benz Chassis
