2015 Northstar 600SS, 2015 Northstar 600SS Pop-Up Truck CamperLightweight Short Bed Low Profile Great for TowingThis 2015 Northstar 600SS is a lightweight pop-up truck camper that's a great option for buyers who want to keep their truck-and-camper combination compact and simple. At approximately 1,450 lbs, this camper is considerably lighter than many traditional hard-side truck campers. This particular 600SS is set up for a 6-foot short-bed truck and sits approximately flush with the rear bumper, making it especially attractive for customers who plan to tow a boat, utility trailer, side-by-side, or other equipment behind their truck. The manual pop-up roof keeps the camper's profile lower while traveling and provides comfortable interior space once you're at camp. Main Features Approximately 1,450 lbs Manual Pop-Up Roof 3-Way Refrigerator Sink Dinette Solar System Powered Ceiling Vent Fan Manual Corner Jacks Compact Lightweight Design IMPORTANT NO BATHROOM OR TOILETThis Northstar 600SS does NOT have a bathroom, shower, or toilet. This is a simpler lightweight camper designed for customers who don't need a self-contained bathroom and would rather have a lighter, more compact truck camper. 6-Foot Short-Bed FitmentThis particular camper is configured for a 6-foot short-bed truck. With the camper sitting approximately flush with the rear bumper, the truck's factory receiver hitch remains much easier to access than with a camper that extends several feet behind the truck.Great Choice for TowingThe compact design makes this Northstar particularly appealing if you want to carry a camper while also towing: Boat Utility Trailer Side-by-Side / UTV Trailer Motorcycle Trailer Other Recreational EquipmentActual truck compatibility still depends on the specific truck's bed dimensions, payload, axle ratings, tires, and overall configuration. Galaxy Campers can help verify fitment before purchase. Simple Lightweight CampingThe 600SS is designed around the idea of keeping things simple.Lower the pop-up roof for traveling and raise it once you arrive at camp. Inside you have the essentials: a dinette, refrigerator, sink, storage, solar, and powered ceiling ventilation without the additional weight and space required for a bathroom.Northstar continues to build the 600SS today as a compact lightweight pop-up platform, although specifications and truck fitment for the current model have changed over the years.
