If you're looking for a well-equipped Class A with the space and features to make camping easy, this 2018 Thor Hurricane 31S deserves a look! This is an original-owner, free-and-clear coach that offers a fantastic floorplan with two slide-outs, a walk-through/split bathroom, plenty of sleeping options, and excellent indoor and outdoor entertainment features.
Built on the Ford F-53 chassis with the 6.8L Triton V10 producing 320 HP, this Hurricane is rated at an 18,000-lb GVWR and 23,000-lb GCWR with an 8,000-lb hitch rating. The 31S is approximately 31'6" long and features two slide-outs for a surprisingly spacious interior.
Outside, you'll find automatic power leveling, two slide-outs with newer toppers, a newer power-retractable patio awning, outdoor shower, receiver hitch, BBQ hookup, and an outdoor kitchen with a mini refrigerator perfect for entertaining at the campground. The tires are only a couple of years old, adding another nice plus for the next owner.
Inside, the Hurricane features Corian countertops, stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, pull-out pantry, and a convenient kitchen counter extension. The split bathroom layout provides easy access and privacy, while the rear bedroom features a queen walk-around bed and its own TV.
Sleeping accommodations include the queen bed, dinette that converts to a bed, drop-down overhead bunk, and a sofa that has been replaced with two comfortable cloth recliners. The swivel captain's chairs turn toward the living area, with a coffee table positioned between them to create a great conversation space when parked.
Entertainment is everywhere with TVs in the living room, bedroom, and outside, plus a bedroom radio with interior and exterior speakers and an upgraded Sirius radio up front. Backup and side-view cameras provide added visibility while maneuvering.
The coach is also equipped with an Onan 5.5KW generator, furnace, AC, cable-ready setup, and plenty of storage. Whether you're planning family vacations, tailgating weekends, or extended road trips, the Hurricane 31S gives you the space and flexibility to enjoy the journey.
