One of a kind OFF-ROAD edition. The camper is design by Chesapeake Light Craft. This company specializes in the fine craftsmanship of sturdy kayaks and wooden race boats meant to take a beating. Here's a run down of costs, build and specs.
The Okoume Mahogany wood is imported from the wetlands of the Congo. The wood is rot proof and has jut enough flex to handle off road terrain unlike other rigid regular plywood micros that are prone to cracking. Cost for
Wood and plans is 5k. The trailer is custom off road build of 3" into 2" steel. Special designed swing out spare. Mounted on the best off road suspension for trailers. Timbren independent suspension. About 7-8k for the custom off-road trailer build. Custom quality Avery vinyl and professionally wrapped 1k. 300 hrs build time it takes to make on of these trailers by independent builders. The build booklet alone is over 400 pages. So not many out there like it, and this ONE of it's kind off-road edition. Cargo ceiling net inside for extra towels or blankets, clothes, etc.storage at foot of bed as well. Top cargo basket. All weighs around 1,000 lbs. Interior is about 6'x8'. Can fit queen size mattress and fit up to three people. dI am providing mattress and all bedding. Can fit within any standard garage so no HOA worries. Entire build is clear epoxy over mahogany. No nails or screws in the build. No loosening of joints or rusting hardware. Extremely unique design with. No shortcuts taken. Build by a crafted wood worker in 2019 and highly customized in 2023. You can also order extras from the company like galley shelving, interior items and much more if desired. This camper is build to go almost anywhere your vehicle can go. Go where the big rigs can't.
