2021 Heartland Bighorn Traveler 39MB. Ready for the Next Adventure.
The 2021 Bighorn Traveler 39MB by Heartland is a large luxury-oriented fifth wheel designed with families, full-time travelers, or extended-stay campers in mind. Measuring just under 42 feet in length, it has a residential feel with four slide-outs that open the interior, creating a spacious layout that feels more like a small apartment than a traditional RV.
The exterior has a high-profile fiberglass look with full pass-through storage, power leveling, a large 20' power awning with LED lights, and insulated construction intended for more comfortable travel in a range of climates. The underbelly is heated also. Its size and weight mean it is best paired with a heavy-duty truck, but once set up, it offers the kind of living space that appeals to longer trips or full-time RV living.
Inside, the rear living area is arranged for comfort, featuring theater seating, a sofa sleeper, an entertainment center with a fireplace, and large windows that make the space feel bright and open.
The kitchen sits in the center of the coach and is built with a residential approach, including a large refrigerator, solid-surface countertops, a three-burner gas stove, oven, microwave, pantry space, tankless water heater providing instant hot water, and a freestanding dining table with chairs. There is generous cabinet storage throughout, giving it a practical feel for people who spend significant time on the road.
The signature feature of the 39MB floor plan is the middle bunk room, which gives it extra flexibility and can function as a small bedroom, kid's area, office, or storage space. It includes a foldout sleeping arrangement with storage. Above this area is a loft sleeping space that adds even more sleeping capacity without sacrificing the main living area.
Toward the front, the bathroom includes a residential-style shower with glass doors, vanity sink, linen storage, and porcelain toilet, offering more elbow room than many fifth wheels. The master bedroom sits in the nose of the coach and usually includes an upgraded 12" king size mattress with a mattress pad, washer and dryer, a large wardrobe, dresser storage, and enough walking space to avoid feeling cramped.
Features that the owners love are the theatre-style recliners, the large residential refrigerator, gas stove, the light color of the interior, the loft room, washer and dryer.
Upgrades the sellers have made include the 12" mattress, TPMS on all tires that work with a phon
