Looking for a premium travel trailer that combines lightweight towability, high-quality construction, a spacious interior and an exceptional bathroom layout? The 2021 Lance 1985 is an excellent choice for couples and small families who want the comfort and craftsmanship of a premium RV without moving up to a large, heavy trailer.
The Lance 1985 is approximately 23' 3" long with a 4,245-lb dry weight, making it a versatile travel trailer for a properly equipped SUV or pickup truck. The 1985's standout feature is its full-width rear bathroom, giving you considerably more bathroom space than many trailers in this size and weight class.
Inside, the large Super Slide dinette opens up the main living area and creates a comfortable space for dining, relaxing and entertaining. The dinette can also convert into additional sleeping space, giving the Lance 1985 a sleeping capacity of up to four.
The front bedroom features a queen-size innerspring mattress, LED reading lights and privacy features. The kitchen provides the conveniences needed for extended camping, including a 7-cu.-ft. two-way refrigerator, stainless-steel 3-burner range, large sink and folding galley extension.
Premium Lance Construction
One of the major advantages of the Lance 1985 is its construction. Lance uses aluminum framing, laminated construction and Azdel interior wall panels, along with insulated walls, floor and ceiling. Dual-pane windows help improve insulation and comfort while reducing outside noise.
The exterior also includes aluminum wheels, Goodyear radial tires, exterior storage, LED lighting, exterior wash station and a fiberglass exterior with an Azdel substrate.
Comfortable for Weekends or Extended Trips
With 45-gallon fresh, gray and black water tanks, a 25,000-BTU furnace and a 13,500-BTU air conditioner, the Lance 1985 is equipped for everything from weekend getaways to longer California road trips.
Whether you're exploring Big Sur, Monterey, the California coast, Yosemite, the Sierra Nevada or your favorite campground, the Lance 1985 provides a comfortable home base without the size and weight of a much larger travel trailer.
