2023 Entegra Coach Odyssey 29V. 1,550 miles. $96,500. Soddy-Daisy, TN.
Read that mileage again. Fifteen hundred and fifty.
I bought this coach used on March 3, 2024 from Blue Compass RV. The odometer
disclosure on my paperwork reads 1,260 miles. It has been camped in about four
nights total since. The generator has never been run.
WHY IT HAS SO FEW MILES
There have been two owners, and neither of us used it. The salesman at Blue
Compass told me the first owners were an older couple who had bought two
motorhomes from that dealership over the years. Shortly after they bought this
one the wife was diagnosed with cancer and they were not able to travel. The
dealership sold it for them on consignment as a favor to long-time customers.
So it came to me nearly untouched, and I have added only a few hundred miles
and four nights of camping. That is the whole history of this coach.

WHY BUY THIS ONE INSTEAD OF A NEWER COACH WITH MORE MILES
1. AN RV WEARS OUT FROM USE, NOT FROM AGE ON A CALENDAR.
The chassis, the generator, the slides, the seals, the water system, the
appliances - every one of them wears when the coach gets used. This one has
1,550 miles and four nights of camping on it. A 2024 or 2025 with 20,000
miles and sixty nights has had ten times the wear, no matter what the model
year says on the title.
2. THE GENERATOR HAS ZERO HOURS.
Generator hours are one of the first things an experienced RV buyer asks
about, because a worn generator is an expensive repair. This one has never
been started.
3. THERE IS STILL A WARRANTY ON IT, AND IT TRANSFERS.
A three-year extended service contract, 36 months and 36,000 miles, good
through March 3, 2027. It transfers to you. Only 1,550 of those 36,000
miles have been used. Most used 2023 coaches on the market have no coverage
left at all - buy one of those and the first repair is yours.
4. NO WATER DAMAGE HISTORY. NONE.
Water intrusion is what destroys RVs and what destroys their resale value.
This coach has never leaked and has never been repaired for one.
5. SOMEONE ELSE ALREADY TOOK THE DEPRECIATION.
The biggest drop on any motorhome happens the day it leaves the dealer.
That hit has been absorbed. You are buying a coach in essentially new
condition without paying new-coach money for it.
6. THE PAINT HAS BEEN PROTECTED TWICE.
The $1,995 paint protection package was applied when I bought it, and the
full package was applied again recently - that second application was
covered under the contract at no cost to me. It is why a three-year-old
coach still looks virtually new, and it shows the coverage actually pays out.
7. $10,424 OF COVERAGE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY.
Service contract, roadside assistance, tire and wheel protection, paint
protection. Buy a used coach off a dealer lot and they will sell you those
same four products all over again for about what I paid. Here they come with
the coach. The tire and wheel protection alone runs another two and a half
years, through March 3, 2029.
8. NO DEALER FEES.
When I bought this I paid a $995 pre-delivery fee and a $250 dock prep fee.
You will not pay those buying it from me. That is $1,245 in your pocket
before we even talk about price.
9. LOOK AT WHAT ELSE IS LISTED.
A 2024 Odyssey 29V is currently asking $99,500. This one is $96,500, with
1,550 miles and $10,424 of transferable coverage still on it.
