If you want a front living fifth wheel with room for a family, here is the 2023 Forest River Salem Hemisphere 378FL. It measures 43 feet 6 inches long, 8 feet wide, and 13 feet 6 inches tall, with five slide-outs and a dry weight of 11,589 lbs.
The front living room has two tri-fold sofas, a reclining sofa, and panoramic windows. The entertainment center holds a pop-up television and an electric fireplace. The kitchen has a center island, a single-bowl under mount sink, a gas range with oven, a microwave, a pantry, and a fourteen cubic foot French door refrigerator with an inverter. There is a free-standing dinette for meals.
The rear master bedroom has a custom king bed, a wardrobe, and a dresser with a television hookup. The bathroom sits between the bedroom and living area and includes a residential walk-in shower with a skylight, a porcelain toilet, and a vanity. There is a loft above the bedroom for extra sleeping space.
For systems and capacity, it has 15,000 BTU ducted air conditioning with a brace for a second unit, an upgraded insulation package, a heated and enclosed underbelly, and twelve-volt heat pads on the tanks. It holds 57 gallons of fresh water, 62 gallons of gray, and 30 gallons of black, with two propane tanks at about 60 lbs combined.
Outside it has two 30-inch entry doors, a 20-foot patio awning, an exterior ladder, and two Texas-sized pass-through storage compartments. The original owner added an on-demand tankless water heater, an installed washer and dryer, a roof-mounted solar panel, and custom Amish vinyl skirting.
