What is the overall weight?
The current weight of the unit without any additional options is 550lbs.
How tall is it?
The top of the unit sits 4’ 6” off the rail of your truck bed.
How wide is it?
The unit is 61” at the widest point.
How much can the roof hold?
The maximum load is 400 lbs.
Where is the wiring?
A wiring diagram is provided in the owner’s manual.
Will you build it out for me?
This unit is designed to give you the maximum freedom to build it out how you need it. We will install the options on our website only.
Can you add a floor?
The floor of the unit is essentially your truck bed! You can add carpet, foam or any sub floor to make you feel at home.How do I secure it to my truckbed?
We provide seven tie down straps (four @ 500lbs and three @ 1000lbs)
How do I load it on and take it off my truckbed?
We sell camper jacks as an option. We install mount points from the factory that make removing the camper shell a 15 minute one man operation!
What is the shell made of?
The shell is made of a composite material (fiberglass with infused foam core).
Do I need better suspension for my truck?
More than likely. We recommend reviewing your current suspension capabilities prior to purchasing a unit from us.
How do I tie it into my truck lights?
We have provided a four pin connection that will plug into your truck’s existing port.
Can I add a window to it?
Yes, feel free to add a window.
Can I add a ladder to the outside?
Adding any external items requires using our internal brackets which can be purchased on our website or at the time of pick up.
How will it affect my gas mileage?
Any item you add to your truck affects your gas mileage. We expect this will decrease your overall efficiency by 2-3 MPG.
