The owners of this 2024 Winnebago Revel 44E Sprinter 4x4 spared no expense when upgrading and customizing this exceptional adventure van for top-end off-grid performance and luxury van living.
Working with the highly respected Owl Vans and Canyon Adventure Vans, they invested in upgrades that transformed an already extraordinary factory-built adventure van into a highly refined, purpose-built expedition vehicle ready to travel far beyond the pavement while keeping its occupants remarkably comfortable.
The 2024 Revel 44E provides an outstanding foundation for this build. Built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4x4 platform, it combines a turbo-diesel engine, four-wheel-drive capability, electronic stability and traction control, and the sophisticated Mercedes-Benz cab environment with Winnebago's proven Class B motorhome design. At just 19'7" long, the Revel is remarkably maneuverable while still providing a full living environment for two. Its clever floorplan incorporates a power-lift bed, gear garage, flexible galley, wet bath, refrigerator/freezer, induction cooking, hydronic heating, substantial storage, and an off-grid electrical system designed to support extended adventures away from traditional campgrounds.
Adding to the Revel's factory off-grid capability is a solar charging system with two solar panels and a lithium house battery, providing additional renewable charging capacity and energy independence while camping away from hookups. The combination of solar charging and lithium house-battery storage lets the van make better use of available sunlight while supporting the refrigerator, lighting, electronics, climate-control systems, and other onboard conveniences during extended off-grid stays. Together with the Revel's factory charging and electrical systems, this setup makes the van exceptionally well suited to spending multiple days in remote locations without sacrificing the comforts of modern RV living.
This particular 2024 Revel has been taken far beyond its factory configuration. Owl Vans transformed the Sprinter's suspension and rolling stock with Falcon 4.3 adjustable shocks, Sumo components, a rear mini spring pack, upgraded shock mounting, and additional protection designed to improve ride control, stability, and durability when the road becomes rough.
