The Palomino Truck Camper HS-780H OVE comes from a long line of well-designed truck campers by Forest River. It is a lightweight, hard side for half-ton to one-ton pickup trucks. The OVE package is known for its compact yet functional design, featuring a queen bed and a U-shaped dinette that will break down for extra sleeping space. It will sleep up to 4, two adults and 1 to 2 little ones. This is designed for true camping, with a hot/ cold outside shower and an on-demand hot water heater. It has plenty of storage space to allow the owner to bring along whatever cooking apparatus seems best to use for their needs. When plugged in for power, it is pre-wired for an air conditioner, so if you decide to install one, you can enjoy the additional comfort during the hot months. It has a Maxx Air Power Vent in the upper bunk area and a 20,000 BTU Furnace to ensure comfort during the colder weather months. The HS-780H has a detachable 30-AMP power cord and a 20-pound propane tank. But for the off-the-grid, primitive camping experience, the Overland Vehicle Equipped (OVE) is built with a focus on durability and rough country capabilities. These features include two 200 Watt solar panels, a Bluetooth charge controller, and a 100-AMP Lithium Battery. For those trucks with any kind of lift, this unit comes equipped with a rear Molle board for carrying a Jerry Can or other accessories.
