Detroit Series 60 12.7L 515HP Turbo Diesel Engine. Awning, Sleeps 4, A/C Unit.

Experience the legendary construction and timeless appeal of a 1992 Prevost Country Coach XLII, a 40-foot luxury motorcoach built on the rugged Prevost XL platform. Featuring a classic stainless-steel riveted exterior, monocoque construction, and a non-slide floorplan, this coach delivers the strength, durability, and distinctive character that make vintage Prevost coaches so desirable.

Power comes from the legendary Detroit Diesel 8V92TA turbocharged V8 diesel, producing approximately 500 horsepower, paired with a heavy-duty Allison 5-speed automatic transmission. Combined with Prevost's robust chassis, air suspension, and air-brake system, this coach was engineered for serious long-distance travel.

Inside, the Country Coach conversion showcases rich solid walnut wood cabinetry and wall paneling throughout, creating a warm, sophisticated residential atmosphere. The 40-foot non-slide floorplan provides generous living space, storage, and comfort without relying on slide-outs.

The premium galley features Corian solid-surface countertops, deep integrated sinks, a two-burner induction cooktop, and convection microwave oven, complemented by elegant granite or real-tile flooring. The private North/South-facing queen-bed master suite offers a comfortable retreat with a cedar-lined closet, dedicated vanity/makeup area, and washer/dryer for the convenience of extended travel. The beautifully appointed bathroom features a porcelain residential-style gravity toilet, neo-angle tile-lined shower, and granite flooring.

Climate control is handled by a basement central Cruise Air air-conditioning system, while Webasto hydronic heating boilers provide efficient heating and hot-water capability for year-round comfort. A massive 15kW Onan diesel generator provides substantial electrical capacity for onboard systems and appliances.

The stainless-steel Prevost structure and commercial-duty foundation set this coach apart from conventional RV construction. This is a distinctive opportunity to own a piece of Prevost and Country Coach history, combining classic styling, exceptional craftsmanship, serious mechanical capability, and unmistakable road presence.
